To complicate matters there are injuries, transfers, money matters, player contracts, demanding chairmen, demanding fans, demanding players and their evil agents, the media poking their noses in, the FA and of course other managers, like Sir Alex, tapping up your best players. If you need to know any more about the nuts and bolts, we'd suggest you check out the review of CM 00/01 (or even the original Championship Manager 3 release) - after all, this is essentially the same game with a few add-ons.
What the already initiated among you will want to know is what's changed since last time. The most obvious is the new player database. Well, it's only about three weeks behind - Stam has been kicked out of United, Dean Richards is at Spurs, but Peter Taylor has not been sacked by Leicester yet. Foxes fans need not fret, however, as the database editor allows every statto/saddo to keep their files up to date, and for the rest, the first few updates should be available on the Internet shortly.

As well as the database being up to date, so is the transfer system - a few weeks into the first season, a new UEFA directive, which is far too complicated to go into here, comes into force. There are wordy, on-screen explanations, but basically there is less of the Bosman free-for-all approach to transfers and smaller clubs are more likely to be financially compensated for the loss of a key player.

At the same time it marked the beginning of a new generation of Championship Manger games which introduced many features still seen today in football management simulators. After a less than encouraging start with their original releases, Sports Interactive rose to prominence with (which was released in 1995). Season 97/98 built upon that success and featured nine world leagues. For the first time more than one league could be played concurrently, giving players an option to try their hand at managing in a different country during their simulated managerial career. The game was immensely popular. It was a football simulator that struck the perfect balance between realism, accessibility and fun.
To install the pack, all have to do is copy and paste the files into your existing cm9798 game folder, replacing the original files. I STRONGLY recommend making copies of your original files first or moving them to another folder in case you want to revert to the original version at any point.
Not everyone ended up being happy. After more than four years of ever-increasing size and popularity, a schism formed in the Update Team. "Some of the members began to have differences in terms of assigning attributes and values to the players in the database," Henderson says. "Some agreed, some didn't." So they split in two, with the disruptors known as the SIM team - on account of their focus on stringent accuracy - and the other team called ODB - representing the "original database" style used by developers Sports Interactive.
The reunited Update Team now stands at a healthy 22 members, divided into five Board members (they're in charge), nine Coaches (they update the database), and eight Scouts (they suggest attribute values and other changes). Official Update Team releases routinely receive more than 30,000 downloads - the precise numbers and trends are hard to gauge because the statistics were reset during a server change last year - while the more experimental unofficial back-dated historical databases of 80s and 90s leagues draw significant love and attention from the regulars.
Scooterfan agrees, with a caveat. "I probably had a week off work at the time [of its original release], and since then no other management game has come close or had the addictiveness to keep me going back for more," he says. "[But] over the years I have missed new features such as new league formats, realistic wages/transfers, Champions League formats and maybe having increased difficulty."
Although never particularly expanding on the graphical side, Sports Interactive included many new features along with the usual updated database. Championship Manager 01/02 implemented the new EU regulated transfer system, introduced in September 2001, and also featured a new "attribute masking" mode, whereby the player could only see information about footballers they would realistically know about (also known as a fog of war).
This is the latest official patch for Championship Manager 01-02 known as the ".68 patch". This patch includes many bugfixes and a database update. Players like Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo have been given a higher potential in this patch.
Please note that if you wish to use any of the updates supplied by www.champman0102.co.uk, you will need to download this patch. Any existing savegames you had with the original database will not work with this patch.

The National Stolen Art File (NSAF) is a database of stolen art and cultural property. Stolen objects are submitted for entry to the NSAF by law enforcement agencies in the U.S. and abroad. When an object is recovered, it is removed from the database. However, be aware that not all recoveries are reported to the NSAF. If you have information on a work of art in the NSAF, please use the FBI.gov tip line to report it.
Tried following the descriptions and even a video tutorial on the ChampMan site but one of the database files gives a trojan horse warning when I try to download it and when I try the original database it doesn't work anyway. Wasted a few hours trying to get this done too. Pish.

Age in years (AGE) is calculated from the birth date (DOB) and the admission date (ADATE) in the HCUP State databases with the few exceptions listed below. Ages over 89 are aggregated into a single category of 90 years or older in the HCUP nationwide databases starting in data year 2012.
In the 1988-1997 HCUP New York databases, AGE could not be calculated because New York did not report full admission and birth dates. During HCUP processing, only the reported age in years could be used to assign AGE.
Beginning in 1998, Washington provided a four-digit birth year with the century. If the reported date of birth was greater than the admission date, then the original date of birth remains unchanged and the age at admission (AGE and AGEDAY) was set to inconsistent (.C).
Acceptance of a species in the database is an editorial decision, but we acknowledge such decisions need to be re-examined frequently in the light of new information. If you disagree with senior synonymy decisions or genus assignments, please let us have your well-argued-corrected assignment. Only the editors can add or modify the data, but anybody can upload images with identifications and location information, although this will be checked and can be modified by the editors
For information about the recent devlopment of the database please consult Hayward et al. (2020) (Hayward, B.W., Le Coze, F., Vanderpitte, L., Vanhoorne, B., 2020. Foraminifera in the World Register of Foraminifera (WoRMS) taxonomic database. Journal of Foraminiferal Research 50: 291-300.)
The steering committee has identified the following tasks that could be undertaken to improve the usefulness and value of the Forams in WoRMS database. The tasks have been assigned to one of three perceived priority lists. We invite any worker who wants to make this database more useful by contributing to any of the tasks below on a voluntary basis, to contact the chair of the Steering Committee, Bruce Hayward by email.
The records on higher taxa generally have the same structure as those of the species records. Not all of the above items already exist for all taxa entered in the database, but they will be added as time permits. 2ff7e9595c
